Doctora started in a working optometry practice. Dr. Cynthia Ragland, our founding optometrist and the mother of our CEO, Beau Ragland, has practiced optometry for more than two decades. The exams were never the slow part. The clicking and typing that came after them were, and they kept her finishing charts after the last patient left.
Doctora was founded in 2025 to take that work off the doctor. It listens to the exam, drafts the chart in the practice’s own fields, and leaves the last word to the doctor.
We build for optometry and the EHRs optometry uses, so the chart reads the way you would write it and lands where you would look for it. Less clicking, more time for the next patient.
